On Gaza and the BDS movement

The latest issue of Risala (the newsletter of the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel or PACBI) is solely focused on the heinous massacre in Gaza. If, like much of the justice-loving international community, you have been horrified by the genocidal crimes against humanity conducted by the state of Israel upon Palestinians and are wondering what to do about it, look no further than the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. If there has been a glacial shift towards better and marginally more honest coverage in the West about the massacre in Gaza (from a Western media that is still unforgivably pro-Israel), it has been due to the unrelenting interventions in public discourse made by the Palestine-solidarity movement in general and the BDS movement in particular. It is a movement predicated firmly on the principles of social and political justice as well as non-violence, in addition to being keenly strategic in its moral shaming of a rogue state that is fast beginning to resemble Germany in the 1930s. Join the BDS movement today and stand on the right side of history.

In solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for liberation and justice.
